It has been an ongoing saga — a web site operator for a Harry Potter site had plans to publish an encylopedia about the Harry Potter books.  J.K. Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter books, sued the potential author, saying that it infringed on her rights and that she had long planned to publish her own Harry Potter encyclopedia.  Well, the judge finally made a decision, and ruled in favor of Rowling.
